My Cabo wedding photography is very natural and candid, I work with the couples to find their natural poses. Every wedding is a different photo shoot, every bride has different emotions, every shoot is part of a story happening and my photography is a witness of the emotions and moments in that special day, a documentation forever… My photography for weddings in Los Cabos is with 35mm and hi-resolution digital format. I always have with me a back-up set of equipment. I work with a qualified assistant. At all times, I am shooting with three or four different cameras, with lenses between 16mm and 300mm. For the ceremony and candid work, I work with zoom lenses. For the formals, the family portraits, the studio on the beach and with the couple, I work with still lenses. For all those images with full importance, the formal shots and the ceremony, I prefer to use the film, the precise quality of colors and textures of the skin is highly evident with film. All the time, my assistant is working with a hi-resolution digital camera to capture the different angles and images back to my camera, just like another eye at the scene. Also, I provide with 35mm camera black and white film and cross film for those special art touch shots. I create back light images by capturing images with a fashion style, working with large lenses and back light. I have worked at all the resorts in the Los Cabos Area. The photography in Cabo is exceptional, here we always have photographers from all over the world working, because here in Baja it is one of the three places in the world with the best light. The contrast between the rock formations, the blue water, the deep sky, definitely creates the perfect conditions for the perfect scene and perfect photo. I shoot sequences at approximately two hundred shots per hour. I deliver to the couple, all the material and I choose the best thirty shots to make prints of four by six. Then film is scanned in hi-resolution and in the end, we have all the images in cd´s plus the negatives. The images created by digital cameras are supervised in the computer and qualified for prints. From these thirty prints, I print seventy per cent in full color and thirty per cent in black and white and sepia. Also, I work cross film images to give an art essence to the wedding shoot.
